Really i loved all the characters. I liked some at some point and hated some at other points. I did like Ana Lucia, Juliet, Desmond, Miles, and Sayid most. I don't really dislike any of them but Lock confused me and Claire seemed almost pointless
Claire seemed pointless??
What about Sun?
What the hell did Sun do?
hm...okay point made. but Sun did grow crops which probably helped i suppose smile
Yeah and then tore them all up over a tantrum. (Twice, I believe.)
At least she stopped being such a doormat to Jin.
That chick with Sayid with blond hair...... don't even think she should have been there.
You are my new best friend. You are the first person I have heard say they liked Benjamin Linus the best. Ben was also my favorite, even from the very beginnings as Henry Gale. Benjamin was the Hamlet of LOST. One minute he was the evil guy, the next the good guy, the next you didn't know if he was good or bad, and so on. He was an enigma if there ever was one, and Michael Emerson played him so freaking well that I don't think I'll ever see him as anything BUT Ben! ^^' Ahh, I loved him, he was even cute! Aaghhhhhhhhh. Ben could take me out on the beach for a sunset dinner any day! *swoon*
Anyway, jokes aside, he was my favorite. They all were really good, to be honest, and they all had their perks at different points.
I can't believe anyone would say they hated Jack. Yeah he was the all around 'good guy' of the show, but he had his tragic flaws just like everyone else. He wanted to fix everyone, and not everyone could be fixed, and he had his own separate amount of issues to deal with. Jack was by far, if I'm going to put a alignment (like Dungeons and Dragons lol) on him, would be Lawful Good. I think it was appropriate he was the main character of the show, he made a good leader, and he had his ups and downs just like everyone else.
Although Boone and Shannon (the blonde my friend was mentioning above), were both minor characters and had somewhat a cliche "The Hills" storyline to them, I still thought they were a unique part of the story. If they were going to go as far as they did and make it 6 seasons long, they needed to develop a bunch of characters with unique storylines, and thats exactly what they did. Granted they were a little annoying at times, but Shannon provided catalysts at times when it was needed, and Boone provided a setup for an important theme around the entire show -- birth and death, and the reason for living itself.
LOST is by far one of my favorite television shows of all time, and it will be greatly missed.
I believe LOST was my favorite as well. And I also agree with you on everything above. I don't hate Jack terribly, but he was just the main character. I never saw him as being protector of the island at all, even the short time he was, but believe it or not, I did say that Hurley would. Which is why it shocked me when it happened.
I personally liked Ben too. The actor that played him was really good!
