if you don't want to go through all the seasons, you could watch the two hour season recap, and then watch the last season. you won't be as caught up as everyone else, but you'll know enough. and if you do this you might want to get someone who's watched the seasons so they can answer your questions during the recap
that's how i started, and now i'm almost as caught up with the show as anyone else :3
