Did Jack have a son before they detonated the nuke??

After they detonate the nuke and it shows you what happens when they land in LAX Jack has a thirteen? year old son.. so did he have a son before too? Because whenever they left the island it didn't show that he had a son.

He only has a son in the sideways timeline, not in the Island one.

At least not one he (or us) knows of.

I don't see how, Aaron is his nephew, and he doesn't even know about him in the alt timeline.

The sideways aren't just their lives if they never crashed. It's their lives without the Island at all since the 70's or so. Jack's been on a different path for most of his life in the sideways. Hence his son, and appendix.

But remember jack had his appendix removed on the island cause he was having problems. Just a cool connection biggrin but yeah your right about them all having different lives look at Sawyer as the cop lol Kate is the only one not different

Probably not. There's plenty reason to believe that the time-line wasn't split when the plane crashed, but possibly long before that.

Jacob got nuked... he is obviously dead in the Alt time line.

He never gave James the pen to write the letter that led to his criminal life.

The Kwons will never be blessed with a child.

Shepard completed the spinal surgery on his wife and had a child (in theory) because Jack never got the chocolate from Jacob.

Hurley... well, the numbers were not cursed by the island.

Locke must of been paralyzed in a different way, because he DIED and then Jacob brought his back to life, paralyzed. (I think)

Sayid thought he was unworthy in the alt time line.

And then Kate, well, she makes no sense actually, she shouldn't be a criminal because it was Jacob that was there when she tried to rob the shop, and he paid for the taken stuff. Kate wouldn't of gotten away with it and the police may of been called, etc.

But yeah, all the candidates were led to the island because of Jacob, or the island. So everything that happened because of Jacob and the island after 1977 never happened.
