I'm not actually the one who coined Narutard. Furthermore, I have no idea where I originally heard it. Which is bad if you think about it. At any rate, I'm just using it as an alternate and somewhat disparaging form of Naruto's name. The manga/show is not really bad, I'm just not fond of the Naruto character himself. Tell me "believe it" one more time and I'll chop off your leg. Nor am I on the Sasuke boat. That kid is emo with good reason. I'm a fan of Orochimaru because he's insane like any good bad guy and he has nice earrings. Not to mention Jiraiya is hilarious.
I see, you've only seen the edited TV version. Well I'm sorry but I can't say that gives me much faith in what you think you've seen of it.
'Believe it' was purely an anime thing that was put in to deal with extra mouth movement and stops fairly quickly.
Mainly I'm caught up in the term Narutard. It seemed pretty rude to me, I don't insult fandoms I don't care for.
