OKAY So here's the plan:

(1) Set up a tent village outside the movie theatre day before the release
(2) Pre-buy our tickets.
(3) Settle in for the night, listening the the Hobbit audiobook right up until the movie
(4) Pass around a good ale and bread dinner
(5) Fall asleep during the movie when we finally get inside to the warm. WATCHING THE ******** HOBBIT.

Advice? I'm mostly worried about keeping warm and am not a huge camper (this is all in Southern AB btw). Also, staying up for the movie.

I never like camping out for anything (I'm really impatient). But the idea of seeing it on Christmas Day sounds really awesome. I might have to plan for that.
