Was tempted to name a kid Melian Amaya. I won't, but I can't say the temptation wasn't there.

Although I do think that it would be amazing to have a child named after a character from Lord of the Rings, what if they hate the series? And what will be said to them because of their name? I just don't think it's fair to the child, however much you may be in love with the name. Give a pet a badass name from the series if you love it.
