My favorite is definately Legolas, though Elrond, Figwit, and Haldir are close in second... and third, and fourth... Bro hoof to Agent Elrond! 4laugh

Yes, welcome to the Favourite Lord of the Rings Character thread. This is the thread for you to vote in the poll (apologies for only having the Fellowship, but alas, only ten options were allowed and that's the fairest way) and discuss your favourite character.

Doesn't matter whether you're choosing said character from the books or from the movies, it's whoever you like! So vote and post away!

Characters from other works of Tolkien's are allowed as well, despite the fact that this says "Lord of the Rings".

This was a really hard one. People say Frodo is a weakling, but the rings power was irresistible. Without Sam, Frodo wouldn't of made it, and vice-versa. They depend on each other for survival. And who doesn't love Merry and Pippin? Their mischievousness and humor add so much to the Fellowship. Aragon is a true leader and they would have gotten very far without him. This goes for Legolas as well. Gimli and Legolas contributed a lot of the defending part of the fellowship. Without Gandalf, nothing would've even happened! He's like the father figure everyone feels safe with. Boromir...not going to lie, I hated him at first. But you end up warming up to him and his death is the saddest thing. I voted for Legolas, not because OEMGEE he's hawtt, but because his cheerfulness and great archery skills made me always be rooting for him or interested in what he was doing. Such a hard choice though!!
