I would have to say that gandalf is my favorite character. He is just all around awesome. Not only is he a good fighter, but he can do MAGIC. Thats just playing awesome!

I'd have to say that I have 2 faves,

1. Legolas, seeing as he's an elf and just soo super hotly cool.

2. Gandalf, seeing as he's not a "wisard" but an "angel" sent to Middel Earth to help the creaturs resist Sauron. He and his suppirior Saruman are called "Istary", and thats why he rocks the mullet.

I voted other for a couple of reasons.

Eomer Eadig is one of my favorite characters. Yes, he is handsome, though he looks like he is in an eternal bad mood. I dont belive I saw him smile but once. Regardless, the Third Marshal of the RidderMark would have to have my vote.

But also I am a huge fan of Legolas, but I knew he would get quite a few of the votes. Given his quick and steady movements, his wonderful and perceptive eye, I imagine he would be a great companion in any situation.
One of my favorite scenes was in the Return of the King when he took down the elephant and slid down its trunk and cocked his head to one side. Gimli saying "that still only counts as one".

Ironically, I just watched all three movies again this week.
