Couldn't I have chosen all of the above? I really love all the characters that Tolkein created in the LoTR trilogy. Each one of them had a special quirk that made them unique and realistic.

However, after much racking of the brain and rock, paper, scissoring the heck out of my sibblings, I have tried to narrow down my choices and came up with four:

My favorite is Aragorn but I like Tom Bobadil in the books. I wish they could have found a way to put him in the movie.
