I'm going to say The Hobbit, closely followed by The Lord of the Rings and the Silmarillion. And I have a soft spot for Farmer Giles of Ham as I read it quite a few times back in the day.

The Children of Hurin, but simply because it is an in-depth telling of my favorite Tolkien story. I was thrilled when I realized it was Turin Turambar!

Well, I've only read The Hobbit so far, so I'll have to read some more books before I can make an opinion on that one. ^-^

I'm completely in awe at The Silmarillion, because it's so amazing. But, I love to read The Hobbit.

Hmm, I was more of thinking something to the effect of the Children of Hurin (don't know how to do accents on here) or The Silmarillion. But, close enough.
