the reason this is not in the fanart thread ( for those of you who are wondering) is that this isn't really fanart so much as me making fun of Jackson, Bakshi, and Rankin/Bass

blaugh Thranduil not blue and wrinkly, that's for sure. Someone needed to explain elves to the artists in the old cartoon versions.

It is a German name, or at least comes from one (read it in a biography, but I don't remember which one). If it was spelled "Tolkein", it'd be pronounced Toll-kah-in. </geek>

Anyways, I'm going to get back on topic, and complement the illustrations posted above.
Gussumaru Kenji, I like your drawing style, and sincerely hope that you make more of this type of art. If you ever need inspiration for funny captions, I'm sure there are plenty of people here who could supply you with them.
