i will give an August 2012 Sealed Letter to whoever can answer these questions about the hobbit within the next hour;

What is the greatest treasure that is found in the cave? Who finds it? What does he do with it?

Which cave are you talking about? The elven-forged swords of Gandalf, Thorin and Bilbo are found in the trolls' cave. Bilbo finds the ring in Gollum's cave and puts it in his pocket. When the hobbit enters Smaug's lair (more like a dwarven hall than a cave but who cares) he finds the fabled Arkenstone atop a pile of gold and puts that in his pocket too.

As spoonybard said, it depends on which of the caves you’re discussing. There were multiple caves where important items were found, so you probably need to be a bit more specific.
