biggrin This is usually what I play, but have added on a few:
When Sam says Mister Frodo. / When Frodo says Oh Sam.
When Gimli is used as comic-relief.
When Aragorn and Legolas wax in elvish together.
A few more but I don't remember..haha.

That's the one I saw! I was peeved that they left Gimli off it entirely!

Take a shot every time there is a badass pre-battle speech, perhaps?

I was gonna say keep drinking til the speech is over but that struck me as dangerous. XD

Edit: Maybe also: every time a main character dies/gets mortally wounded. I'll probably be back with more. sweatdrop

- Gollum and Smeagol have an argument
- Peppin ******** up
- Legolas shoots someone in the throat
- Gimli is used for comic relief
- It shows the lidless eye
- Frodo almost dies

My favorite of these is the depiction of the Lidless Eye.

Every time someone looks all mopey and angst-ridden
Every time a Black Rider appears
Every time someone sings a song
Every time someone draws a sword
Every time Frodo's eyes roll back into his head
Every time someone or something is called "precious," take a shot.
Every time you see the Great Eye
Every time Elrond appears onscreen
Every time someone uses the word "Mordor,"
There's a close-up of the ring
Merry and/or Pippin do/say something stupid
Legolas says something poetic or looks off into the distance
Gandalf says something wise/mysterious
Someone speaks about the Strength of Men or Aragorn's bloodline/future.
Out of respect, when a character of importance passes away
Whenever Frodo falls over.
Whenever there is an Elf vs. Dwarf moment.

Take one swig for each number Legolas or Gimli shouts to keep track of their kills.

Take two swigs each time Legolas's number is highest.

Take 2 swigs each time Gimli gets shown up in things not battle related.
