Welcome to Gaia! ::

my name's Koji
Do you feel like you fit your name? I guess so, I can't really see myself being named anything else
Is there a name you'd like more? maybe a more "common" name, one that won't make people keep asking "is that your real name?" rolleyes like Nick or Cody. I've been mistaken for Cody many times
What does your name mean? it's the name of a certain kind of rice they ferment to make sake, or the name of some Japanese makeup company that sells glue to make asian eyes look more "European" stare
Got any interesting nicknames? koji moji, amerikai fiú or vonzó fiú (american boy and hot boy in hungarian 4laugh )
My name is Mary Elizabeth.

My mom wanted to call me Mary Beth, but I rebelled, and wanted to be called Mary without the Beth.

My name means rebellion, or bitter. I am fairly rebellious, so I guess it fits.

I was called "The Virgin Mary" forever... I heard it all "hey Mary, did you know?", "Mary Had a little lamb", "Mary Mary quite contrary" , "Mary Mack"... ugh.

But I am proud of it, because it was my grandmother's name.

And my nickname is Murr.
But all my family calls me Sissy.
My name is Carina

Do you feel like you fit your name? no, but I can't think another name; but heeey! a lot better that Margo (the name my father wanted to give me)

Is there a name you'd like more? Sophie, or any other name a little less spanish sounding

What does your name mean? It comes from Xarina that is greek later it changes to Carina, the italian word for pretty

Got any interesting nicknames?Caricarina, Cari, Carina with C (Carina Con C), but my family calls me Yaya
My name is Richard as in if you work hard you get rich, although I don't work hard and still I get B's A's and C+'s
My name is Emilie. It is pronounced the same as Emily.
Do you feel like you fit your name? Yes. I was named after my Great Grandmother.
Is there a name you'd like more? I use to want my name to be spelled with 'y' instead of an 'ie'. I hated my name as a child because people always spelled my name wrong.
What does your name mean? Industrious
Got any interesting nicknames? Emmeline. I think my nickname is somewhat unique.
My name is "Signe" and for the longest time I hated my name when I was little. A lot of kids made fun of me.

For one thing, there are two different pronounciations which have two different implications. "Sing-nah" is the general pronounciation, but it also implies a degree of affection or familiarity when used by a close friend or family. "Sig-nah" is the other pronounciation, which might be used by my parents if I, say, knocked over my mother's favourite vase and broke it. Ironically, "Sig-nah" is the pronounciation all my friends use because either the other one is two hard or their lazy.

Second, almost NO ONE can pronounce my name correctly on the first try -or the second, or third, and something not even the fourth.

Nowadays, though, I love my name. It means "An Omen Of Victory" in Norwegian.

As for nicknames, I have a rather large collection (it's a Scandinavian thing): Sig, Siggy, Lemur, Little Lemur, Red, Bluey, Sloth-Lemur, Sigiggy, Copper Top, Pasty, and Pastry.
I actually do like my name. It fits me. It means Ireland, though. Not much meaning, but I still like it.

Nicknames?
Ladder (Long story...mainly that I'm skinny)
Stick (Um...I'm skinny)
Beanstalk (Yeah, same reason)
Memo(sometimes I tend to remember little things in the nick of time for other people)
Webster (I tend to use English better than most people I know.)
Dollface (Dad. He got it from a movie. -.-)
Rugrat Major (My dad didn't want kids. Didn't bother remembering our names much)
Avy (Chosen nickname, really)
Slave (Dad again. Go figure)
Well my name is Katherine Marie but everyone just calls me Kim (like since i was a baby). I like Kim. But i dont like being called Katie, Kimberly, Kat, etc. Just call me Kim...even tho that isnt really my name.
My name is Danny, well... Daniel. It's a pretty common name, sometimes I think I'd be kinda cool to be named something else... like Elias, or Damien or something.

I believe my name means "Judged by God". As for nicknames, they consist mostly of basically any variation of my name you can think of. Danneh, Dano, D, The Dude (anyone who's familiar with 'The Big Lebowski' would get this) and well, Phantom... because I have friends who tell me I remind them of Danny Phantom. -blinks- o_O;;
My first name means "Bright Fame" in German. My middle name means "Square Shooter" in Chinese, a translation I'm not really getting. My last name means "Write Well" in Japanese, but in Chinese it has something to do with seven warriors (meaning most likely lost in translation).

I want to change my name because I was named after my grandfather whom my family despised, so I think I get the short end of the straw, so to speak, with them. I'd probably change it to something Japanese.
Name:Jessica
Do you feel like you fit your name? Yuuup
Is there a name you'd like more? Erica.I thought it'd be cool since my brother's name is Eric. If not that, then just a less common name >.<
What does your name mean? my name means "grace is with you" or "god is watching"
Got any interesting nicknames? Not really..my friends just call me Jess or Jessie. And my family calls me Pooter or Pooky >.< I've been called those names since I was really little and I have no idea how they started 0.o
My name is Jen. I like my name, as long as no one calls me Jenny. People who call me Jenny do not live long.

Some of my obnoxiously numerous nicknames:
-Poncho
-Clint Eastwood
-Fishface or Fishy
-The Unnormal One (hence the screen name)
-Fred
-Cheese
-Shorty (this one's ironic, I'm the tallest female in my family)
-Ghost Girl
-Silver
-Parrothead
-Political Junkie (the last three actually came from my teachers eek )
Do you feel like you fit your name?
I guess I do, I like my name and I can't imagine having another one, maybe because my name is pretty uncommon and I've grown to love it.

The celtic/gaelic meaning of Darcy is dark one/dark/darkness ;0

Caroline seems to fit me, though for a while a teacher called my by my first name and, long story short, I wound up with the nickname Brad. haha.
So yep.

"Caroline" is from the name, "Charles," which basically means, "man." Bwaha! I rock.
