I had a party with my girl friends about a week before - because my birthday is near Christmas.
We had cake and played games and it was great. biggrin

My 18th birthday was the 6th month anniversary of my first brain tumour removal so I was just happy enough to be there/talk to friends, and I was still a little fatigued so I didn't really wanna go do anything nuts. I still think it was my happiest birthday tho.

I got my first tattoo. My mom's birthday present for me when I turned eighteen was a $100 gift certificate to a tattoo parlour (I'd asked for a tattoo) so I went out and got it.




Of my five tattoos, three of them were birthday gifts from my mom (eighteenth birthday, twentieth birthday, and twenty-third birthday).

I just got presents and my family and I went out to dinner and then we had dessert.

God I don't even remember what I did for my birthdays before I hit 21. 21 was a good birthday. Got wasted in Vegas emotion_awesome

It was probably a bigger party deal, but I forget.

I remember buying cigarettes for my grandma about a month later. Was fun to get to show my card xD

Honestly don't remember.
It was just another birthday to me, I could just go get my dad a pack of smokes then when he didn't feel like going out but I was going somewhere.

18th bday in the states doesn't really mean much other than voting and buying smokes. Unless some states are different than the one I'm in, but I doubt it.

I honestly don't remember. I probably just hung out with a friend. Hell I can't even remember what state I was living in when I turned eighteen. Maybe I just went out to dinner with my parents? Who knows?

I went to chili's with family and was embarrassed by the staff singing happy birthday. I fed some ducks and then went home and drank some bloody mary's.

I spent the night with my mom, woke up, went to some estate sales, ate lunch at a random restaurant, watched How To Train Your Dragon 2, then I went to the performing arts center and watched Wicked (the best thing ever)!

I'm including going to the casino with some friends as part of my birthday because it happened the next night, but it wasn't really on my birthday.

It was overall really great.

I would have loved to stop by a body shop and get some new piercings, but I'm doing that on my upcoming vacation.
