Laziness, they know it bugs the rest of us out here, the feel they are smarter for not giving a s**t, they don't give a s**t about what they are saying...

I'm familiar with people like that. It's not our job to learn chatspeak. To speak using the best English you can is best. I'm on the side of the grammar nazis when it comes to chatspeak. It needs to be left in cell phones or in chat rooms, it is not allowed in forums.

The worst I do in chats is not capitalize my letters. And I can understand people doing that on a phone with only number keys, but when it has a full keyboard it's just...no...

I totally agree. I type almost full sentences usually when texting anyway. >.> I'm a weirdie in that respect. I just love using the full keyboard to its full potential.

Same here. I have a number only phone and type everything out. Unless I have no choice but to be quick or if I'm running out of space in the text.

Notes though. Not trying to start another argument but if it's personal notes like that, namely in class, then that's different. But to carry on a whole conversation and to try and debate using it? It doesn't work.
