ummm i'd have to say.... buying new yarn. i have a whole stash and its more than i'll ever need to use (because I crochet) but i LOVE buying new yarn and its really bad because i end up spending so much money for it but i crochet pretty often and know that i live in a house with more people who crochet to i don't feel as bad because they'll use it too...
i'm lame hahaha
Buying yarn is SO addictive LOL! I am the lone knitter in this house, but I have a friend and a sister-in-law that also knit, so we sometimes trade stash.
The worst is that I love sock yarn and lace yarn. A skein of worsted is like ~150 yards, I can go through that in a few days knitting a hat or something. But sock yarn skeins are ~400 and a pair of socks takes me about 2-5 weeks; lace weight skeins can be over 900 yards, and those lovely lace patterns can take months! So buying a lot is -really- not a good idea, haha!
Currently on a "yarn diet", only using what I've already bought. I'm hoping that I've used up a lot by the time Black Friday sales start, so I can justify buying enough yarn for a sweater!
