Mine tends to change a lot. When I'm really excited it raises in pitch by a lot. When I'm calm, people tell me I sound like a man. Which really pisses me off to be honest. I don't like it when people assume I'm gay or a man just because of my voice. It is all around deep though.

I ask because voice tends to play a huge part in how to world sees you. If you speak one way over another way, people will assume things about your personality. Sooooo here are some guiding questions LD:

-It changes depending on the language I'm speaking. It sounds smoother in English than in Spanish. In Spanish it sounds stronger.

-My family makes fun of my voice because they say it's too high-pitched.

My voice is still changing, then again I've only been on testosterone for 10 months. I'd say it's around medium male voice. I actually have a much harder time going high than low anymore.

My voice is very agile and light. It has similar abilities to that of a coloratura soprano.

This is in opposition of the dramatic tenor voice, which is dark and has more power, yet cannot navigate melismatic passages with as much ease.

gaia_gaiagold Ah well it still lets me record and whatnot, but when I go to listen to it the quality is so terrible and I sound like the character I'm cosplaying. Which was cool and fun for that one night (******** you mods for deleting that thread I liked it!), but it was getting increasingly frustrating since I wanted to sound like, normal for once. gaia_gaiagold
