Yup.
Lesbian, at 14? Are you sure they aren't just trying to be "Unique" and put a twist on the bisexual bandwagon?

And that's why I stereo-type Pagans and Wiccans as horrible gothic pain-freaks.

i dont want to report you dear, we are serious about this, you can fin lesbian topics in otherplaces in the forums, please dont be like that

mm so planets and stars influences us? isnt that a lie? i just see astrology as something funny and taht doesnt work, but it does? how? so , if i tell you i want to know soemthing about myself that the stars and planets says, would you be able to do it? you can know so much? how?

Personally I can't because I don't have much knowledge on that aspect. I'm a Taurus. I can read books about Taurus' but it only connects to me on some things not all. No one is born under the same star alignments even if they are born a second later. There is a slight chance that someone is born at the exact time, exact location...but that would be weird. It would have to be like mom on top of mom giving birth.... confused It is hard to explain but yes they do affect us!

why earth mother is so important? i know what you mean, and also think is true, women represents life, so to you represents more? magic? life?

Because the earth mother is the barer of all things. In fact Egyptian believe the earth is masculine! You should read upon it. That is one thing I don't usually follow with Egyptians. I love the idea but i find myself connecting to it as a feminine energy. In fact the last thousands of years the world has been dominated by a masculine energy! This year for the first time in many of thousands of years it changed to female and is now around Canada, States, Mexico, and Peru.

in Mexico!? i live there?! how? why? explain me please dear whee

Not all goths like pain. I'm horribly afraid of it.

Tonight's talk about a possible blood test tomorrow got me in tears.
I pass out when I see large ammounts of blood (Mostly associated with my family members' injuries since I have more passion for them obviously then another human being.)

I dunno... Do we have like a topic theme a day here in the LD?

Tonight it must be Religion because Majority of the topics are dealing with that subject. I've got so many topics to fly off to I don't know which one >w<; I think I'll stick to this one. Aurora's getting too much lime-light in it. I think we need more than one opinion on the subject.

Haha Gothic Pain Freaks? *Scratches head* I hate to tell you this but One I don't' hurt myself and two I'm wearing a pink shirt and a blue skirt! I suppose that is what sucks about stereotypes. I mean technically according to popular belief we are devil worshipers.

Awww don't mess up our fun.

C'mon its boring here having Aurora answer all the questions.

Besides, he has more points than just that on Wicca.

Seriously though. If you want knowledge you're gonna have to rely on more than just Aurora. I'm usually a bit authority on it but tonight I've been shoved aside. stare

OOO lucky duck. I wish I could explain it but I'm just learning myself. I was told it was the reason why there are mostly Male leaders. Male kings, lords were considered more powerful. Apparently, now the woman will start to take over. Or a more feminine approach to things will happen. This could be good and bad. There are the ancient Clan mothers from the Mayan area that i suggest you learn about. If you can find the book "The thirteen original clan mothers" I suggest you read it.

but it make you feel better right? is no somethiong bad, so why they reject that? is too complicated?

My spiritual beliefs make me feel complete, in ways that my Christian upbringing never did. However, it's unfortunately hard to explain that to people who think 'cult' every time they hear 'Pagan,' and to people who aren't all that religious in the first place.

mm, well, that is not what i think, but why the word pagan?does it have a meaning?

*shrug* The word has been given a negative connotation. The Latin root is "Paganus" which, as someone said above, merely means "country dweller."

so the bad meaning ceme later? why? how?

Hahah Sorry but i'm also glad you mentioned the religion talk. This year the conscious self is taking over. More people are starting to understand things with open eyes. Man I have so much to say but My fingers are starting to hurt. I'll let other talk for awhile. I'll still continue but I won't jump from topic to topic...my brain is getting sore.

mm, well, that is not what i think, but why the word pagan?does it have a meaning?

Words do not have power until we give them power. (good to know for spells) But what I mean is; the word probably didn't' mean anything. It was just something we could call our beliefs rather than having to explain everything. It is like a name Aurora. But over the years the churches corrupted the word saying it was devil worship. When people start to believe that the word gets corrupted. Just like witch! Witch is good but now people think evil nasty cauldron boils and eating toads!

words are that powerful? how? why?spells? they works? when you use them?
nasty cauldron boils and eating toads? well i dont do that? but thing can get corrupted you are right? why some witches do it? they are searching for something?
It came to apply to those who weren't of Abrahamic religions. Which, not too long ago, was considered to be pretty bad. Implications of being "godless", sinful, ignorant and so forth turned up because of that.

Words change. I think Pagan is one of those words that is losing many of its negative connotations, but admittedly that's probably because I hang around people who use it positively as the name for their religion or religious leanings. No doubt there are still people who equate Paganism with godlessness. (Which is silly. I'd have way more gods than them. wink )

Believe it or not I was actually talking about Wiccans, with all seriousness. I know there are some who look into it and study the beliefs, but I don't know any personally.

I've grown up with a paticularly(sp?) blue sense of humour, and it blends in with my views on certain topics.
