I looked her up on Wikipedia to check, apparently she's fairly devout and sings in church sometimes
3nodding Her music isn't Catholic, but she is

You Catholics are lucky. You don't have any modern bands but you have some marvellous, fantastic, absolutely beautiful songs spanning centuries. Look at all the Requiem Masses out there. I'm a fan of Gregorian chants, too. I have a few on my ipod. I LOVE that old stuff.

There's a band called Mediaeval Babes that has quite a few girls in it, and a fair number of Wiccans seem to like them. But most of the music is mediaeval stuff, so most of the themes are Catholic.
wink They're really quite beautiful songs. Ones that jump to mind are "Gaudete" and "Salva Nos". There's some folk stuff as well. They're not actually a Christian band, and I don't know if any members are Christian. But they love mediaeval music, and much mediaeval music that we have surviving in some form is Christian music.
Like, this song:
Adam Lay Ibounden. It's in Old English, and one of their songs I really like. But totally Christian

The lyrics are a bit hard to understand, but it says, basically translated:
Adam lay bound, Bound in a bond
For 1000 winters, He didn't think.
And all was for an apple,
An apple that he took,
As clerks find, Written in this book.
Had that apple not been taken,
We wouldn't have had Our Lady
Our Queen of Heaven
Blessed be the time
That apple was taken
Therefore, we will sing
"Deo Gracias!"
And this one here,
Salva Nos, that I mentioned before, is in Latin and about the Virgin Mary. I think.

As for
chants, they're not spells. Chants are a sort of a cross between singing and speaking... although sometimes they can be quite song-like. But the important thing is that the melody (if there is one) is very simple, and that it is repetitive. You can use it to build energy, for a ritual or to use for a spell. So not spells in their own right, but useful for raising energy.
Reclaiming is like a Neo-Pagan group. A famous witch called Starhawk is a member, I think she founded it actually. She's a Goddess-worshipper rather than a Wiccan and she wrote some pretty good books on Neo-Paganism. Anyway, Reclaiming has some really beautiful chants.
This one is called
"We all come from the Goddess"
There's another Wiccan chant that recites the names of some goddesses. It goes:
Isis, Astarte, Diana, Hecate, Demeter, Kali, Inanna
Inkubus Sukkubus did a beautiful version of this chant. You can hear it
Here.
