I think there are two types.

"School" friend - Talks to you wherever you both are frequently. Doesn't talk to you much outside of that place. A bad kind of friend.

Real friend - Knows who you are, talks to you wherever, knows what you're really like, could guess how you would think, is there to back you up, and won't come to my funeral, because he'll/she'll be too busy killin da ******** who killed me
