What do you think of young love?

I'm 14, I have a boyfriend, he's my first boyfriend,
I'm his first girlfriend. We go to different schools,
we see each other 2, 3 or more times a month.
I was just wondering what you're thoughts
on it in general is.

- do you think they are worth it?
- how long was your first young love? (ages 13-15)
-Just young love in general...

It's all based on maturity.

If you're mature, know how to communicate, understand how to trust and be careful at the same time, are actually compatible with the other person, and know that arguments are natural, it'll work.

And, remember age has nothing to do with mental maturity.

I'm the same age as you, but I really don't like people around our ages being in relationships and classifying it as "Love". I think it's generally a waste of time and anxiety. I've actually decided to hold off on dating for the next 3-7 years. :

Basically, love = love.

And 2-3 times a month is NOTHING compared to once a year with me.

When I was that young, being in a relationship was one of the last things on my mind. I guess it all depends on how mature you are.

I don't think many couples in high school REALLY love each other, and they shouldn't worry about being in love at the point. You should really like each other and enjoy each other's company. Other than that, just have fun, gain experience. I wish I had dated more in high school, just for the experience. Also, hold off on the sex.
