I miss all my barbies. Remember the way they look and everything. The names we gave them and such. I miss other toys, but mainly my barbies. My mom gave them to goodwill. My mom said if you still wanted them get them out of the car.. we never did. I couldn't do it myself.. guess at the time I didn't want them as much, but now I wish we got them.

I'll be waiting with my eyes closed.....

I guess as a kid you don't really want to keep them as much, their too 'babyish' to play with or not new. You just grow out of them, so you don't care until your older.

Yeah, thats probably how I was thinking, or the fact we didn't play with them that much anymore because I was like 12 or 13 when it happened and my sister was 10 or 11. I hope they went to a good home. We took really good care of our barbies. I hope they didn't go to little girls who tore at them and tangled there hair and drew on them or anything.

I'll be waiting with my eyes closed.....

I miss my sky dancers.
emotion_8c
Even if they often smacked me straight in the face.

The only toy I have from my childhood is my stuffed bunny.
I need him to watch over me while I sleep.
If I lost him, I don't know what I'd do.
Cry a lot, probably.
There is no replacing Bunny Foo Foo.

I remember those! I'm pretty sure after awhile I started aiming at my brother.. They were beautiful, and yet so deadly..
I have a bunny too! I just called him bunny though.

My grandmother gave him to me when I was a baby, I think new he was like $150. He still has the chocolate stains when I fed him my icecream.

My bunny is still singed from the summer where I decided to light different things on fire to see how well they burned.
My parents were disturbed, but it was legit science.

I'm picturing a tub of naked barbies with crazy hair and some limbs fallen off.. Thats how mine looked, my brother would pop their heads off when he was mad at me.

I loved Polly Pockets, where they would actually fit in your pocket! They were really tiny, and could only bend at the waist.

Actually, my barbies That I've kept are still in pretty good condition. Most are naked and some have loose joints because they were played with so much. My brother knew not to mess with my barbies. evil Though, some of my barbies were in pretty bad shape and got thrown away. I used to cut their hair, put make up on them, etc.

Polly Pockets were so awesome. So many little play sets, and you're right, they did fit in pockets easily.

By the way, I'm sorry about your ponies. sad

Mine weren't.. I'd over brush their hair, and left them half naked most of the time. Never drew on them though. It was pretty funny actually he got mad, ripped the head of my Spice girl barbie doll, and put it in the toy barbie oven.

Thanks, I'm still upset at my Mom about it even though it seems so trivial. And its kinda fun looking through Ebay trying to figure out which ones I had, except when its a character from the new show. Then I'm like "WHAT! I had a G1 Apple Jack! And I totally had a surprise! I loved her neon hair.. T___T"

I still have a stuffed rabbit toy that my mom made when I was little. I'd like to give it to my future child.

That's pretty funny about your brother and the poor unfortunate Spice girl. rofl

Eh, it's okay to still be upset about it. I know I'd be upset if I found out my mother gave away my barbie house. Which, I think she did. Though, that does sound fun, getting to search to find your lost ponies.

When I moved out I did give away a bunch of toys that I wasn't super sentimental about, and were in great condition. You can only hope that they take care of them they way you would, I gave my toys to a girl and eight. I could never draw on my toys, I even bought a pony that was drawn on just to save it. I spent hours washing it, but it never came of..

Also, I freakin' love your username!

I'd be a bit concerned too if I was your parents! Haha it's always fun to see how well some things burn. When I lived in the boonies I'd race my brother to make a fire with only using matches.

We always did it by the river on the sand, so don't worry no forest fires were caused by us!

Yeah, your toys become your memories and you loved them a lot to where you wanted them to not get ruined. One of my barbies did have a chewed arm and leg because of one of our dogs, we pretended she didn't have it or that she had a skin condition or something.

Thanks. Got it from my Fiance with a poem he wrote.

I want all my 12" X-Men figures back. As well as all my Spawn paraphernalia.
I don't want my old toys back really. I just want new ones. I love barbies, I have a few I got for Christmas.

Looking back on it now I giggle at the time, I was so upset! Haha but you could kinda pop her head back on.

The thing that gets me is that she made me keep them, because they would be worth money one day. Now that they are, she's given them away. lol So maybe one day I'll bring it up to her when I've spent around $150+ rebuilding my childhood collection.

Girl With The Windex Eyes

Haha I never had a ken doll, so I used the ugliest, oldest barbie I had to be the 'man' they would get married and everything. I was so supporting gay marriage before I knew anything! Luckily the dogs would never go into the play room, so I didn't have any missing legs. Just a few heads from my brother.

I'm wondering, do you keep them in their package? I'd be tempted to take them out to see them better.
