-pops in once every 6 months or so- hello friends. How is everyone??

So I've got a question for y'all. I "started" my transition when I started a semester a year ago so there are several random students who knew about me. I'm not really friends with them, just small talk when we had class/ran into each other on campus.

Since I've started passing these people are always like "You're so much manlier than some cis men I know" or "Your voice is deeper than my boyfriends! Haha" and not gonna lie, this s**t makes me so uncomfortable. I'm not a fan of being compared to cis people as a way to compliment me?? I'd rather they just say "You look so much happier!!" or something.

The thing is though, I know these people are trying their best to compliment me and be nice?? So I feel bad for my frustration. I dunno, I'm mostly over it but I was wondering if ya'll have run into this issue? Or if you even see this as an issue?
