I don't think that being bi has much to do with this issue. It's just the same for straight people, except I suppose there's slightly more competition. Honestly, it depends on how picky the guy/girl is and how easily they can fall for someone else.

The fact that you stereotype bisexual girls as being more likely to cheat or leave you for a girl is very offensive and narrow-minded. And just because you're in a relationship with one doesn't mean you're constantly fighting off suitors, no more than if you were dating a straight person.

Bisexual people are just as likely to cheat on you as straight people. Get some self-esteem and grow-up.

I think 'competing' is a stupid term. Sounds like the girl/guy is a trophy or something... guys and girls aren't things to be won, though. No one 'steals' partners, the partner finds them better, and changes their mind. jkdsfdjkasdfh. -rants- I'm a Heartless b***h member, what can I say?

Anyway, with bisexual people it's not gender that makes the decision usually, it's personality and soul. If they think a girl or guy is better than you, they'll go for them. It shouldn't be an ego blow- what, can girls not be as good as guys?- anymore than them dumping you for another guy.

Well I do wonder about this. Its an interesting little relection of mine. If you are a bi girl and you have a boyfriend would you dump him for a better girl? Or if youre a guy and have a girlfriend would you dump her to go with a guy?

I think that Bisexualism is okay i dont think it is wrong dirty or sinful its a matter of choice really. But have I for one am very scared of dating Bi girls, (I am straight) Since the competition would be too harsh. I couldnt stand to lose my girl to some other girl it would be traumatic.

So Bi Gaians... would you dump a partner of the opposite sex for someone of your own gender?

My boyfriend currently is bisexual. He's bisexual but he's not 50-50... which many people aren't. He's more like 60-40, preferring women. Therefore, if he left me for another person it'd probably be a woman. But not necessarily. (It'd probably be my gay friend, actually. lol He's so friggin cute!)

ANYWAY, I'm totally for bisexualism. It has always been a part of my IDEAL in a man. I feel that someone is with me because they like what I have to offer. So if they leave me for anyone else, despite their gender, I have to say that they weren't what I wanted anyway. Straight people leave you, too. It's always a possibility the amount of contact we have with people per day.

But yeah, most bisexuals are on a sort of gray scale. They tend to prefer one gender to the other on a general whole.

He was really paranoid that I would dump him for another girl.

And i said to him.

It all depends on what girl you end up with.

Me personally, if I'm with someone, I'm with them. Male or female. I'm committed to them, and I have eyes for nobody else but them. I never leave my partners for another person. I think that's the most disgusting reason to break up with someone. I certainly would not use my sexuality as an excuse.

And here's what I don't understand about some bisexuals. If you're a girl, and you're dating a guy, why the ******** would you cheat on him with a female? Don't you have your own "stuff" to play with?

I know a couple of bisexual girls who agree with me. A couple. But most of them, I don't know, if I were a straight guy, I'd be afraid to date one myself.

I am a bisexual. But if I am dating a guy, and he cares about me just like I care about him, I have no reason to dump him, or cheat on him! This goes the same if I were dating a girl! I wouldn't dump her just because there is a girl prettier or a guy that's hot! It's all a matter of how the person I am with cares about me! Stop worrying about what your bisexual partner might be doing and remember that they are with you for a reason.
If they wanted to be with anyone else, they would be - but they're not.
