It appears so... Ah i havent felt this alive in years. I think I better start showing this is the sign i had been waiting for...For it is I that has recovered the gift of poetic speech and articulate retorts.

That was unrelated therefore mind it not...

After my past experiences I could never date bi-girls maybe it is I were a sucketh Boyfriend but I am safely gonna stay with straight girls from this day forward, it is a blow to the ego, that which resided in the mind, mind you, not other part. to be dumped for someone of the opposite gender, as i stated before it would be a lot like the following:

"Yeah, youre a great guy and all buti would rahter be with someone who doesnt have that thing in their crotch its icky" Referring to the p***s of course...
If you're so insecure that the extra "competition" of having a bisexual partner would bother you so much...then maybe you shouldn't be dating at all.

I'd think that being dumped for someone else would suck regardless of what gender the person you were being dumped for was. And someone who isn't bisexual could just as easily dump you for someone else.

I'm homosexual, and I dated a bisexual. I was the one to dump him. So, really, believe me. Non-bisexual people can dump their partners too.

Yeah i believe the statement of the SinfulGuillotine is quite interesting maybe i blew this whole thing out of proportion after all I was just trying to pique everyones curiosity on this fact. Anyhow I guess its feelings that overrule the whole gender attraction and therefore its up to the people involved that a relationship will work out. So there you have it.. the conclusion of this is:

Inconclusive, thanks everyone that has participated actively on this interesting discussion

Well I do wonder about this. Its an interesting little relection of mine. If you are a bi girl and you have a boyfriend would you dump him for a better girl? Or if youre a guy and have a girlfriend would you dump her to go with a guy?

I think that Bisexualism is okay i dont think it is wrong dirty or sinful its a matter of choice really. But have I for one am very scared of dating Bi girls, (I am straight) Since the competition would be too harsh. I couldnt stand to lose my girl to some other girl it would be traumatic.

So Bi Gaians... would you dump a partner of the opposite sex for someone of your own gender?

I would feel sorry for the one being dumped...

I would break up with a significant other for a "better" choice if I felt more for this other person than I did for my current partner.
But isn't that what you are supposed to do?

(This is assuming that one or both are not interested in polyamory.)

The gender(s) of the partner and other choice do not matter in my mind.
I'm pansexual. I love people, not genitals.
Depends...Girls can give things guys can't.

WOW, FINALLY SOMEONE GETS IT. THANK YOU!
I didnt know what pansexual ment and i think if more ppl who called themselves bi did know then they would announce themselves that way because thats how I feel......its more their soul, heart, and the connection you have with them. not their bodies

Yes, I would breakup with my significant other if it meant there was someone better, even if they were of the same gender. Though I don't think I'll ever find someone better than Brittany.
i would, if i find someone better then i all ready had then that person was obviously not ment to be then

seriously depends on the person with them, lol
I remember I was talking to my ex (we were dating at the time) and told him I was bi and that a girl that I liked asked me out. I asked him if I could go out with her while I was dating him. He was fine with it as long as I didn't cheat on him with an other guy. I told the girl that I dated (we broke up later on and never spoken sence... The guy I still hang out with...) was cool that I was still with him, but said that she was fine with it as long as I was not cheating on her with an other girl...

For me, I would just be up front with my current. And I sort of caught myself lying to my boyfriend about my seuality... Guess I'm turning bi again... Just perfer the guy bod... Kukuku...

Well, if you feel you have a stronger connection with the same gender.
Then yes.
I would at least.
But I dumped my ex gf cause she never talked to me.
But, it all depends on how you feel at that moment.
I'm bisexual. Normally my preferance leaned towards men, but then I met a girl who I just really fell for. She's everything I was looking for in a partner with regards to her personality and interests. Really, I'm not a huge fan of the whole "sexuality" thing. There's nothing more shallow, in my opinion, to say 'I would so date you! But I don't like girls/guys!".

Either way, I'm happy being with the person I have, so no, I wouldn't dump her for another girl OR a guy.

Hmm, i found out my ex was Bi and i wan't bothered at all, he hadn't dumped me for a guy, but the possability is there. I guess the idea of being in a competition with the world is a little daunting, but if it has to be competition it's not really... well somthings off then isn't it.
I dunno, i think if i was forced to pick between a girl i loved and a guy i loved equaly as much i wouldn't know who to pick...
Well, gender doesn't matter to me. Its a matter of who makes me happier. :]
