My boyfriend said:

"If you ever find a girl, tell me so I can come watch"
He likes my bisexualism. [Lol bisexualism]

My boyfriend is bisexual, but it doesn't bother me in the slightest.

I don't understand the concept of feeling that having a bi lover suddenly means that you've got "competition." I mean, shouldn't the fact that they're dating you be somewhat of a big hint that the competition is over? The way I look at it: if you're a good enough lover and your relationship is actually worth something, you have nothing to worry about.

It's the same thing as dating a straight person.
IF you're dumped you're dumped.
just deal with it.
Doesn't matter about what gender you're dumped for it's still the same thing.

Well I do wonder about this. Its an interesting little relection of mine. If you are a bi girl and you have a boyfriend would you dump him for a better girl? Or if youre a guy and have a girlfriend would you dump her to go with a guy?

I think that Bisexualism is okay i dont think it is wrong dirty or sinful its a matter of choice really. But have I for one am very scared of dating Bi girls, (I am straight) Since the competition would be too harsh. I couldnt stand to lose my girl to some other girl it would be traumatic.

So Bi Gaians... would you dump a partner of the opposite sex for someone of your own gender?

I would feel sorry for the one being dumped...

I am bi but I would not dump anyone simply for a "better girl/guy". That is dumb. Not that I have a guy to dump at this time anyway, but it takes more reason that looks or whatever--its whats on the inside or however that goes. 3nodding

I HONESTLY THINK BI PEOPLE ARE FUKKEN RETARDED. im so ******** sick of people saying they are bi. being bi is a fad. get the f**k over it. like mario cantone said: " pick a hole! hello or goodbye!" is there one straight girl ******** left? jesus. f**k you bi peopple f**k you.
Your comment Humours me but you have a mouthful of reason there little girls saying thy are bi just to fit in with the cool girls... that so messed up...

Amuses, not humors. Humors is something else. (Scroll down to the transitive verb.) And what about the people the "little girls" are trying to fit in with?

Seriously though I bet it would... If i were to dump my girl fro some guy it would be like telling her, "I never liked you in the first place I am more attracted to something you dont have and most likely never will, it was fun while it lasted though, but you never had a shot." *Shudders* Scary..

Not really. At least, not more than it would be saying that to dump her for another girl. Being bisexual means being attracted to both genders, not switching orientations every time you date someone new.

Um, lesse, I broke up with one guy because he wasn't talking to me. A few years later I dated a girl (who I had not even met when I broke up with the first guy) who dumped me for a guy (she said she was straight in her break-up note, though. I found that less hurtful than a regular break-up because you can't blame yourself for your ex not being attracted to your whole sex). Now I'm dating a guy and far more likely to marry him than break up with him. If I did break up with him, it could be for a man, a woman, or nobody at all. I'm more likely to be the dumpee than the dumper, though. Dunno if that helps.

I've never had to "choose", nor would I really know what to do.
I think I'd go for polygamy if I was that indecisive.

I am bi myself. I have been with guys and girls--though not many as I have only had a few mates--and I have settled with a girl who I am not engaged to. I would not dream of breaking her heart by dumping her for a guy, nor, however, would I dream of doing that by dumping her for a girl. I do, however see how dumping her for a guy might cause more pain from her point of veiw, if only because I myself have had a guy leave me for a girl. It causes brief confusion to add with the pain, but any rational person would look back and think, "hey, he was bi, so maybe he did find me attractive. The relationship wasnt a lie!" Of course, this can cause more confusion, but, as the french say, c'est la vie!

The worst sin towards our fellow creatures is not to hate them, but to be indifferent to them; that's the essence of inhumanity.
The whole point about being bi is that you don't need to care about someone's gender to like them.
So really it wouldn't matter, at least not to me, the same rules would apply to me as they would for a straight person.
I wouldn't throw away a perfectly good relationship for someone else unless I was convinced I was in love with the other person.
And I don't throw the word "love" about loosely.

The real Joker, my friends. Show some respect.

People who think of it in terms of "This girl dumped me (A guy) for this girl, that's so awful" I tend to find very stupid and naive. If you're dumped for another, then your (now) ex has obviously found a better person. Better person =/= better gender.

Yeah, I agree. Gender doesn't matter. Being dumped sucks any way you look at it. How does it feel different to you? I know there are lots of folks out there who feel the same way you do though. Its interesting to me that people look at being bi and going for the same gender differently than any other relationship breakup. I really don't understand it. confused
