It's all about what YOU believe. I personally do not believe in some dude (God) in the sky that made all of creation. I am a true atheist. However, being an atheist does not mean that you can't be "good". I live by my own set of morals just as any Christian would. I love the Bible for its moralistic teachings, but hate it for giving false hope to so many people (Heaven). I also hate how it threatens Hell to those who "sin" -- sins are usually human nature in the Bible anyhow, such as being a homosexual. No one can help being a homosexual because it's in their nature. You can't choose to be a homosexual so it should not be considered a sin.

Frankly the idea that people ought to "eat, drink, and be merry, for tomorrow we die" is a little disturbing to me. After all, what difference would it make if we lived six years or sixty? What difference would any action make?

I'd rather not get further into it than that as it's only another man's theory about how things work in another dimension.

2) There's alot of reserve stock in souls in the afterlife or
3) Souls bud when reaching maturity or
4) The world population is subject to a god's dream which can grow or shrink as seen fit or
5) You are reborn into a different world/reality or
6) You don't really die, just reset and the world around you resets or
7) Time travel or

I'm currently 21, and stopped believing in religion taking care of my needs 3 years ago. I hope you fair better than I did, some have it better in their lives and others have it bad enough that He cannot be there for you.
