So as ive progressed through the years of my life i have grown smarter. Smart to see that Science and evolution is right. I have been rasied most of my entire life to be a good Christan. So now i need to make a choice, Be a beliver, or Non- Beliver. Sorry for the bad spelling. Any last objections?

I know I'm not the only one that believes in evolution and is Christian, and I'm sure I'm not the only one that looks for scientific explanations in my religion.

Christianity is not about thinking the bible is a history book. Any Christian who isn't an idiot can tell you that. With Christianity, the bible tells stories in metaphors as to how you should live your life-- loving your fellow man, helping the community, and offering your services to those in need (along with hundreds of other things). All but the most extremist Christians know for a fact that the earth was not congealed 6000 years ago.

You either believe or you don't believe in a god of some form. You can believe in a god and still believe in evolution.
     
For some reason people seem confused when I say, I don't care. It's not that hard to understand, and yet they fail so hard at it.

Saw The Princess and The Frog. *sighs* I simply adore a good love story. It was, and no pun intended this time, magical.

Before you decide to swear off religion for good, I'd recommend looking through a bunch of them. they all have a very different outlook on life, and you may find one you enjoy. Trust me friend, Christianity is not the ONLY religion out there. I recommend Buddhism. If you'd like to learn more, look for the guild on here, Loving Kindness. You cna browse and post on the forum freely without joining the guild if you don't want. send me a PM if you'd like some other links

You can't choose to be an atheist any more then you can choose what you think. It's a belief (or lack of one) that you either have, or you don't. Do you mean that you want to start officially calling yourself an atheist? If so, then mind as well- If that's what you are, that is.
