I feel you on the subject of being upset about people taking their being able to have children for granted. Now I know not everyone is like that but some people do...like my older sister. Anyway...I have yet to get to the doctor about it but I don't think I will be able to have children easily. I don't get my period unless I am on birth control and from what I can tell from trying to chart my ovulation that I don't ovulate. It makes me sad when people take having children for granted when it's the thing I want most in my life and I would never take it for granted but it's hard for me.

I'm debating breast feeding myself I'm kinda scared but at the same time it would be a lot better for my son depending on if I can keep up the milk production while hes in the hospital and whenever they decide they will release him when hes born.

Sorry I was backtrack reading the threads there was a girl I went to High School with Ive barely been out 4 years and shes on kid number 6 and already lost the first three sad it makes me so sad to see this because there are a lot of people out there, myself included, that either have horrible complications or cannot even have children. But, I'm blessed that I am having a son of my own even if he has a lot of complications hes still my little bundle of joy biggrin

Good Morning everyone, just dropping by to see how it all is. Ive been really busy, so I haven't been on for a while. Turns out my baby Jellybean is a baby boy! It's nice because I already have a girl, but the girls name we had picked out for him was really awesome and we don't have a boys! Go figure.

Rebecca - Haha! There isn't much that weirds me out. xd

So far, no, I haven't nursed anybody elses. I would if need be. I've donated expressed milk to others though. I have a friend who has IGT and had to supplement. Thankfully we all managed to donate enough that her babe was getting exclusively human milk for the first 6 weeks. He's 10 months now and she's still nursing, but has been giving a few bottles a day of homemade raw milk formula. She had to do the same with her first child too. He nursed for something like 18 months I think? Maybe longer, I'm not sure.
