Is anyone in the LD concerned about a "black out", or in more descriptive words, the collapsing of soceity?

Do ourselves a favor by ignoring those claiming paranoia, Consistent evidence shows that the human social structure as we knew it, is at a turning point, on a global scale.

Protests, riots, genocide, greed, deception, erosion, poverty, civilian casualties, global warming, international affairs, nuclear technology, overpopulation, lunar deficiency, government secrets/cover ups, secret soceities, top 1%, spiritual domination/dictation, propaganda, media control, etc..

Feel free to discuss.

no not really
more scared of like
blackouts
It's the main thing I worry about every day. Global warming and overpopulation especially. We are literally so ******** if we don't do something RIGHT NOW.

Protests, riots: Okay.
genocide: Is at its lowest levels in history, actually. The past has always been extremely bloody. There is more cooperation and diplomacy on the global scale now than at any time previously (within the time in which humans have had societies).
greed, deception: Have always existed.
erosion: I'm going to assume you're not referring to the gradual breakdown of physical matter, as of a rock in a stream, so it isn't clear what you mean.
poverty, civilian casualties: Again, always existed.
global warming: Okay.
international affairs: Which ones?
nuclear technology: I'm not sure I see how having a particular technology imperils the world, particularly as its primary use is in the production of usable electrical energy. The technology isn't bad, and can be a great boon to humanity. It is dangerous only by virtue of its power when misused. We're irresponsible, and that's our fault, not the technology's.
overpopulation: Okay.
lunar deficiency: What does that even mean? What's supposedly wrong with the moon? Are we running out of cheese, or...?
government secrets/cover ups: See propaganda, shortly.
secret soceities: What, like the Illuminati and s**t? Hah. Hahahah.
top 1%: Well... that phrase is a figure of speech, for one thing. It doesn't literally refer to exactly one percent of the population; it's bigger than that. That aside, the problem isn't that an upper class exists so much as that the disparity between the highest and lowest classes is as wide as it is. It's not bad in itself to have wealth; it's bad to abuse the power afforded by wealth, which is what people tend to believe is going on when they reference "the 1%".
spiritual domination/dictation: What.
propaganda, media control: Not a new problem at all. Governments have always had an interest in what information is readily available to the public. Sometimes it is for corrupt reasons, and sometimes it is for more legitimate ones. Again, I don't think that itself is the problem so much as the way it's used.
etc..: There are two periods there.

No. I mean, history is full of awful and shitty things, many of which are on your list. We've always recovered, and I suppose we'll continue to do so.

I can't just worry about things all the time. Especially things I can't do anything about.

I'm not all that worried. I keep hoping for a major disease to cause a pandemic but yeah. Ebola did not live up to my expectations.

What does lunar deficiency mean? Like the moon moving away from the earth?

No normal civilian knows the true status of the world. We do not have access to "top secret" information. You are basing your claim in a contrary perception

Not gonna happen, not too soon, if ever. Medicine is a large industry.

Yes, our moon is an anomaly because it does not rotate, landing there is also extremely difficult.

Well, if a major disease hit a country such as India, which already has an extreme population density, it would be hard to 'catch'. However, easy to stop from coming to developed countries. But having even a quarter of their population wiped out would help greatly.

And tidal locking isn't that rare. Astronomers have found multiple exoplanets that have been tidal locked. The unfortunate part is that it means they won't have life on them.

Aside from that, theme dark side of the moon is still mysterious. We believe it is constantly bombarded by meteors and such yet it is enduring to the turbulance. Which also does not give it a "nudge"

Because the forces of gravity is stronger than a meteor?

I thought that you were referring to a real black out.
But since you want to discuss about the other 'black out', all I have to say is that we've had riots, greedy people, occult religions, the government espionage/control of the masses before, and the world is still going.
I'm sure that the protests will die out soon enough, but the aftermath will last a long time, both the good and the bad.
It's up to everyone to see how we can change for the better.

All societies go through a cycle. They rise, they peak, decline and then fall; it's the way we work. If one falls, another rises eventually, or the lesser societies around it take its place

Survivalist master race, reporting in. When I go innawoods don't bother looking for me.

In all seriousness though, almost all apocalyptic scenarios that result in the complete collapse of civilization are just prepper porn pipedreams. They will never happen for exactly the same reason the Rapture will never happen, we will never travel faster than light, and we will never gain superpowers. That being, it would just be too goddamn convenient and the universe likes to mock us.
