I have a fairly odd/serious question for anyone willing to answer sad

I am not currently having sex with anyone, but my period is...late. Very late. Usually it comes around the 30th of the month (arguably, coming later and later every month, though. I try to keep track.) But for whatever reason, I've been waiting all the way to a week later than usual today, and still nothing. My period has never jumped 7 days late than usual...usually it's just off by a day or two, at most.

May I stress that there is physically NO way for me to be pregnant?

But I'm still waiting and it's making me worry if there might be something wrong with my body. I'm a light 102lbs for someone 5'4, but I also know I haven't lost weight recently. I'm also 17 years old, so I feel like I should be past the whole "irregular periods" thing, especially since I never really was irregular to start with.

Is there anything else that could have caused my periods to stop entirely? It's got me worried.

Lordy, what couldn't mess up a period? Strange travel, diet changes, hormonal changes (you're not too old), weight fluctuations, infections, stress over this or that, med changes, ect ect.
BUT now would be a good time to see a doctor. You're about old enough for that fun anyway.

The male condom is 87-98% effective, the female condom 75-95% effective.
Which is more comfortable can probably only be found out by trying both, however, the male condom is cheaper, more widely available, and comes in dozens of variations. As of right now, there is only one type of female condom.
