My current human sex professor mentioned that when middle-school-aged children learn about sex, it's geared toward a "reproduction-only" format. We never learn about sex as sex (in America) because it's such a taboo subject.

So, we don't learn about birth control or any sort of pregnancy-preventative.

Oh hey, my Health class, when we covered Sex-Ed, covered all those stuff in the poll. =D My Health teacher believed in telling us all the details, and doesn't like abstinence-only education, so she gave us the full details.

Why should you stop having sex just for the joy of having it with a mutual, consensual partner?

Also, yes. Relating to children what puberty is and why it happens is a MUST in my books D: My parents never talked to me about it and I was just sitting there for ten years of my life going "What in the freaking hell is going on?!" (Obviously I figured out what was going on, but you get the picture x.x)

Even though you may have fears about you guys never being able to reproduce again, don't you think they would have found out by now? And, don't you think the effect on females would stop them from being able to reproduce?

Some good info here, but you mention a) some is copy-pasta and b) you've not read all of it. You do need to read over it all before posting, really, because there are errors in there (I mean, look at the text above, for example; it says sex has 'shapes, sizes, flavors and colors'...), and you will need to reference your sources.

I'll return with more detailed feedback at some point.

Just a note: theres two kinds of IUDs
Mirena which is good for 5 yrs and uses Hormones & ParaGard which is good for 10 yrs and doesnt use Hormones.
Sorry I used ParaGard and I think IUDs are great for long term relationships and family planning.

I've always heard of this whole "Motion of the Ocean" deal during sex. But I stand there like "..What the hell IS the motion?" XP So on and so forth, so that question answered would be nice. Also, in a missionary position does the girl even move at all? Or does the male do all the work.

Second question about hymens. Yaaaay~ Okay, so every site I've seen/read simply DESCRIBES the hymen as a thin membrane protecting the vaginal opening, where it's placed, what it's for, blah blah blah. But ya know? I want to know what the damned think LOOKS like, an illustration or something that doesn't come from some sick perv-y site.

For your first question- The motion of the Ocean thing refers to position and just how they/you have sex. It does matter slightly on how big the guy might be, but pleasure comes out of what happens.

I don't actually know much about that since I never took any kid of sex ed class or anatomy.
What some people don't know is that your hymen can rupture without any type of sex. Sitting down hard, getting kicked on certain body parts, etc could actually do it.
