anyone have any questions today?

I did not know of your fear of Dr's before dizzie. I just would hate for you get ill because things did not get dealt with now. I hope it works out. Also I'm glad your BF is understanding and I did not mean to imply that he might leave you.

I didn't either. Well. I did. For therapists. And then. I started hyperventilating about this one just like I did three years ago for that one. I'm usually okay with a normal doctor for things like ear infections and strep throat. Just not other kinds. I practically had a panic attack earlier thinking about it.

I'm just kidding. It's unanswerable, really.

Dr's appt for a vaginal infection...
alright, yeah, all i got is that you probably panicked because you didn't want to find out that you did, if you did.

Also: I always thought my v****a was ugly to look at, but remember: most of them aren't picture-perfect or porn-perfect, and penises aren't the most pretty things in the universe either.

"Haha....vaginas are way prettier! Sorry, dudes...."

hey do you guys think that it is irresponsable to not give your child the talk when they come of age?

i ask because, my younger brother is starting to get to that point, so i asked my mom when her husband was going to give him the talk. So she asked him, and he said that he wasn't going to. He aslo said that would be because he was never given it so he'd just have my brothers all just find out things on their own.

Now i never had the talk, i never had a adult male in my life that wanted to do that. But even though i never got it, i'm still going to give the talk to my children ((when my fiancee' and i actually have children, cause hopefully i'll have at least one boy))

but yeah, what do you guys think about that?

"I wasn't given the talk so I perused the internet....and found stuff I shouldn't or didn't want to know. My husband actually taught me how to masturbate, explained to me about orgasms....it was kind of embarrassing. I am definitely giving my kids the full, well-rounded talk when it comes up in my future."

@ wolffy-silver: "Lymph nodes are bundles of blood vessels that carry lymph fluid throughout the body. They are located everywhere. The fluid they carry is your body's self defense mechanism. When the swell up, it means your body is fighting infection. Most commonly you will notice swelling around the neck and under the arms when this happens."

I has a question.
Now, well, atleast I'm pretty damn sure, that it's normal for teenage girls to have "growing pains" if you will when they're breasts are growing.
I get it right before my cycle, and it goes a day or two into it, but it's been like this for years, normaly by my age everything done and grown. But I guess it's not since that familiar pain comes back every month-that's normal, right?

The talk was attempted to be given to me-quite a few years back, but soon as that "Birds and the bees" came up I just stared, put a hand up and said I'm good! Which at the time I new more than the average teen about that. Plus I'm very uneasy and uncomfortable talking with my "mother", and well my father, we're like buddies, we don't go into that nonsense.

Here and there I picked things up, from friends, internet, and then my boyfriend came along, and WOW did he broaden my horizon.

But I wish at the time I did have an older adult I could confind in, but I didn't.

As for giving my children the talk, I will be giving daughter and/or son a complete, full talk.

My understanding is the body changes each month as it prepares to grow a baby. When that does not happen, then period occurs. The tenderness in the breasts is one of those changes. Some women just have less or more discomfort.

QFT.

It is just one of those many discomforts you may get around your period, just like cramps or migranes.

Lots of women get tender breasts around the time of their period - some women actually find that their breasts grow a little. If it's unusually sore, get it checked out, but otherwise it's probably comparable to cramps.

@ Color Me Nonsense: "It isn't growing pains, per se. It's the horomones in your body making the breasts swell and they do tend to get heavier and actually look bigger. But usually after your period has ended, they will go back to normal. I was pretty upset when I found out mine weren't growing anymore."

@ Thread: "Hi everyone! I've entered 7 people into the prize drawing. Two more pages and I will give it out! I want to extend another thank you to the mods we still have. I am in the process of 'hiring' 2 more mods. Again, I thank everyone for donating their time and hard work into this thread. I am so happy that we are helping so many."
