yeah, i have question,
whats a menstrual cup and how the hell do you use it?

You could try the link I posted. =/ I'll shortcut you to the menstrual cups section. [link] The picture on that page isn't the greatest, so I found an ebay store for LadyCup, which now comes in cute colors! [link]. A comparison of different brands can be found here (also a very useful livejournal community that can help you with any questions you may have about menstrual cups).

To be brief, a menstrual cup is a very sanitary, reusable cup that catches menstrual fluid. You fold it up and put it inside you somewhat like a tampon. Since it is reusable, you produce no disgusting bloodsoaked trash, and you only have to change it about every 8 hours if you have light-medium flow.
ehow.com really helps
XD
glad it helped.
have a good night everyone i'm about to go.
Woah I just found out about this really distressing news, the Nuva Ring is being recalled: http://www.usdrugrecall.com/north-carolina-nuva-ring-statute-limitations-north-carolina-nuva-ring-lawsuit.html

@dizziedobsession:: When you go to the gyno, make sure that nothing has gone into your v****a for 3 days before the appt date (including tampons, fingers, douches, etc) because it can throw off the pap smear reading. Make sure to take a shower the night before. When you get there, just relax! The first time is the most awkward. Just remember-- the doctor has probably seen 4756487 vaginas before yours and much much worse things than BV.

ugh. Just reading that freaks me out more than I was. It's not them seeing my v****a, It's having other people touch it and whatever. *shudder*

I got the confirmation today. I think I'm going to get so nervous I almost make myself sick the day I actually have to go in. I'm so freaking grossed out/scared!
@ dizzie- not as freaked out as i was when i found out my gyno (the one who was my pregnancy doctor) was the same one for my mother in law when my husband was born--- 20 years ago
fashion zombie harlot

That's slightly creepy. I'm still trying to understand that one. So. The same gyno that looked at your mother in law, looked at you, so to say? It's bad I guess. But i'm still freaked. I would really like my boyfriend there. But he'll be 45 minutes away. at school.

EDIT: I seriously am thinking that if I don't bail now. I just won't show up. I know myself. I can't bring myself to go.
yea.. i MADE SURE my husband was there just because i was freaking out at first.
but then i reminded myself, its to make sure both me and my baby are okay.
that eased me...
then the whole "omg another male is touching me there im cheating"
my husband laughed at that one.
keep reassuring yourself that if you backout, something bad might happen.

I think I could handle the, something bad, over the backing out. Backing out is the much safer option than having an emotional breakdown! there's a chance it will go away on its own anyway! I could be in that one in four...
