Telling a depressed person to snap out of it is exactly the wrong thing to do. It's not just a bad mood. It's a tunnel with no light on either end. It's mental torture.

If anyone who is reading this thread is contemplating suicide, I really hope you'll reconsider, and find someone to talk to. Suicide hotlines, youth hotlines, a friend, a family member. A complete stranger on gaia. Your life is important and though life will still be an everyday struggle, know that there are many people out there just like you, who feel as equally alone. You are cared about, and I hope you make it through this.

I think whoever made a "suicide hotline" is a just a little TOO over caring person. I mean really...go talk to a councelor. They're opposites from a "suicide hotline" and help better then many other people could.
