Yes, we all know Valentines Day is coming up, and I'm wondering, who here considers themselves romantic?
Who dislikes romance?

How are you romantic, or why don't you like romance?

I never really think of the word very much. When I think of romance, I think of traditional romance... Taking a girl out to dinner and a movie, holding doors open, stuff like that. It's cute, I guess, but I prefer casual ways of showing someone you care about them.

I do love romantic holidays, gifts, even the slow romantic making love scenario.

I don't think I'm really 'romantic' as such. Buying flowers and chocolates and paying for stuff and gushing about how much you wuv someone isn't what love's about in my opinion. If someone did that stuff to me I'd think they were hiding something. I'm a cynic.
The best description I read of true love was on a thread here today: "True love is when you can have a farting competition and still want to have sex with them ten minutes later."
Romance is bullshit.

Anyways, people shouldn't be romantic on just valentine, people should show how much they care all the time and not by buying things either but by just respecting loved ones and being sweet and charming (not too charming, it would get annoying).

I like Valentines Day only because I have someone to share it with this year, Unfortunately I don't think we will have much a love filled holiday I can be pretty romantic, and I love my boyfriend's romantic side
