Why not? There are plenty of unreasonable reasons to hate someone.

I think it's retarded to hate people because of their weight, sexual orientation, religion, . . . pretty much anything. I think it's retarded to hate someone for most reasons... I don't hate someone unless they've committed a serious crime or have done something awful to me.

Same here, and plus I don't like when people tells me how to dress up.

One time I was wearing a South Pole brand shirt and some girl yelled at me and told me to get it off because it was "against the religion of her" I was like "Lol wut? neutral "

As long as the person/people have what I consider a valid reason to hate and they are not causing severe damage to anyone who doesn't deserve it, people can do whatever the ******** they want.

Whether a reason to hate someone is "stupid" or not is totally a matter of personal opinion.
For example, I hate this b***h named Katie because she's brunette.
Without much more of an explanation, you could probably call me a hypocrite since I'm brunette as well, and dismiss my reason as ridiculous.

You'll never know the entire story behind someone's reasons, no matter how much they tell you. You will never be able to comprehend what caused that hatred.
Therefore, no reason to hate can be considered stupid.

I don't like the word /retarded/ in the way you used it... so I'll substitute.

I think the worst reason to hate someone is for something they don't have complete mental and physical control over (i.e., race, sexual orientation, gender identity, height, weight, nationality, etc..).

Then, after that, lifestyle choices (i.e. religion, style of dress, etc.) that do not directly harm others.

Also, I think a terrible reason to hate someone is to hate someone because they hate something/someone/a group of people for one of those reasons. Teach tolerance. =)

I think the little things are a stupid reason.

I more of a lover than a hater but I will only hate u if you do something really bad to me (like hurt me) or if i see you doing something mean to another person undeservingly. That really burns my buns.
