So. I've heard a lot of stupid people say that (tasteful nudity warning) David by Michelangelo has a really small p***s. I am here to tell you, girls and boys, that real life is not a porno. See, most kids look at porn. A vast majority of the penises they have seen were in porn. What people forget is that porn stars are selected because they are well endowed and "look good" (by who's standards, I really don't know). They are SHOWERS.

A shower is a guy who is big even when he isn't erect.
A grower is a guy who is small when he is flaccid, but can get much larger during an erection.

David was in his time considered an attractive man, and it wasn't because he had a tiny d**k. It was because he was a grower, damn it. I just don't see why people have a hard time grasping this concept. I have seen a fair share of dicks, I've seen flaccid penises the size of David's inflate into a decent 6 inches or more.

Ok, I have to say this:

David isn't considered attractive for any reason related to his p***s. He is a representation of the male form in all it's idealistic glory. The p***s is small for two reasons.
1) The art is a nude, not a piece of erotica. It never was intended to be looked at in a sexual manner, so the p***s serves no purpose but to keep the statue from looking strange and genderless.
2) If the p***s where to have been sculped full and erect, it would no longer be attached to the statue. People have a habit of stealing the penises off of erect statues and I doubt Michelangelo wanted such a grand piece of his work defaced in this way. The easiest and most effective way to protect against this is to make the p***s small and unable to be detached.

#1 doesn't explain why Michelangelo would purposefully distort a p***s when he didn't do this in all of his art.
#2 doesn't explain why the p***s is so small.

Why is it so hard to accept that he was a grower?

David was also supposed to be a young boy. He was supposed to be smaller in that effect. Also, as I said before, at that time it was chic to have a small p***s.
