There is some violent porn and I think that that kind specifically, is not okay. I think it should be bought or rented or something, not posted on the internet.

I think porn can be good and bad, depending on how you look at it. It can be good for those who can't get out into the real sex world, like half of male teen America. It's also a great way to become comfortable with (or closer to) your partner. Plus, you can find some great positions that are fun and satisfying to do. Whoever wants to watch/make/star in porn should be encouraged, as long as the encourager is willing to be okay with whatever. There is some VERY deviant porn out there, which most of us will not be turned on by. For those who get turned on by necro, go right ahead and have your fun with it, just don't hurt anybody.
But! The bad could lead to your inability to be turned on by your real-life partner. Someone who watches straight a**l porn is going to have a hard time staying satisfied with someone who is totally against all forms of a**l. Other than that, it's all good :]

Actually watching sex is a natural thing. Porn has been around for centuries in some way or another, drawings of breasts and vaginas sketched into stone in fact. It is something that triggers a huge portion of the population for a sexual stimulant. It is just as natural as having sex itself.

There was a thing on the History Channel about porn in Ancient Egypt.
Someone found a carving hidden deep within a cave used for burials that depicted a famous Egyptian queen engaging in a sexual act.
It was unheard of to draw anything of this sort and punishable by death, which is why archaeologists think it was hidden so carefully inside this cave.

What is your opinion on porn? Do you think it's in some way driven our society downward? Helped fuel disgusting fetishes? Somehow sinful?

I work as a nude model on several alt-porn sites (like Suicide Girls, although I don't work for them because their contract is s**t) and also run my own website. My roommate is also a fairly big name in the porn industry and makes several grand a month. I am thinking about getting into video work, since I live in the porn capital of the world and they make upward of 120 grand per year. Anyway, what are your opinions on it? I don't think it's an inherently evil thing, although I do think with the internet, that several fetishes have been publicized that really should have just remained buried. Mostly I blame Japan. Mostly I think porn is beneficial, it helps people who would not be able to otherwise find sexual satisfaction, and let's face it - sex is the most natural thing in the world. It's mostly only religious influence that is trying to make it look evil. Sex is awesome, every animal on the planet does it, it's the most naturally good feeling you can get, and as long as you are safe and smart about it...it's really, really difficult for it to be dangerous. Unless you're an idiot. And ******** those people anyway, who cares what happens to idiots?
