my current partner looks his age and then some because his job puts a lot of stress on him. he's overweight because he has a high stress job, he stopped lifting weights, had trouble with drugs in the past, and from an accident about a decade ago he cannot do cardio related s**t. i dare say if he was on weight and not stressed out he'd probably be rather hot. he is not at all ******** average in the looks department, his eyes have this totally mischievous look that tend to be creepy so even i struggle to have eye contact with him because it can end up freaking me out. he's a ******** freak of nature.

above all, he's a ******** amazing person, he has the best personality out of anyone i've ever ******** met. its just so ******** spot on. he's a ******** genius, has charisma to ******** high heavens, and compassionate as ********. while not being one of those "love everybody" twats. witty, sly, a sharp tongue but definitely a dark side, a dark past.

i thought i'd have no sexual attraction to him because i'm very shallow about people's weight (my last crush was this lanky guy who'd get a gut whenever he sat down indian style and that really ******** bothered me, i'm a c**t aren't i? xD ) even my own ******** weight even though i'm on weight, but all i'm going to ******** say is that he knows what he's doing and he does it well. ;3

I am as shallow as a puddle.
Physical attraction matters so much too me.
I always say that after I date someone for a while physical attraction doesn't matter.. but with my last boyfriend we were dating for just over a year and he started to gain a lot of weight.. then felt so grossed out by him.. I couldn't stand to be around him and we were living together.
With my current boyfriend our personalities click but what led us together was how physically attracted to each other we were.. and we even talk about what will happen if one of us gains weight or something since we are both very shallow people.
It's a little scary.. hopefully we can stop being so freaking shallow and our relationship can last.

Both are equally important to me. I can't deal with someone that's stupid. I can't deal with total smart-asses either who think that they know everything.

Still, even if someone can wittily banter with me, I can't be attracted to them if they look like a freaking monster. They can have the perfect personality, but if I can't even look at them without gagging, I won't even think about dating them.

Sexual attraction is very important to me in a relationship. I feel like it's not a relationship if I can't be physically attracted to someone; otherwise, it's just friendship to me.

If I had to choose between a beautiful person with great intelligence(they exist in abundance, it's true!) and an average-to-ugly person with a great intelligence, guess who I'd pick? Yeah, the beautiful one. Am I shallow? No. It's just what works for me and I don't have to settle for any less.

In any case, you can fix looks, but you can't fix stupid.

If one is shallow then i'd say both going for the physical and the intelligent people are shallow.

Physical: Its obvious you want someone attractive so you can ******** them.

Intellect: You want someone with intellect so they can get a good job and make some money.

Either way, both concepts by themselves are just as shallow as the other. There is no relationship that isnt.

I mean how could you ever kiss/hug/have sex with someone you weren't physically attracted to? confused I don't get it.

I just don't see the appeal of tradition physical attraction. That is gone quicker than it lasts. It's so far done on my list of important things in a relationship, it might have well have fallen off.

I think I just go about being attracted differently than most people. I get intellectually and emotionally attached to someone first, and once there's something there, then all of a sudden, this person is gorgeous to me. It's happened with people I was down-right repulsed by, until I spent time with them.. suddenly just thinking about them would get me hot. TMI, I know, but that's how I work. sweatdrop

I have to me both physically and intellectually attracted to a person. If they arn't smart, I can't find them sexy. If they are decent looking, i can't physically be into them.
