And I don't really believe in being ugly. Everyone is beautiful, 'Physically' and on the inside.

Just because I may not view Bernie Madoff as a beautiful person doesn't mean he might not be. I don't know him personally. Sure he's made some very ugly decisions in life and I wouldn't choose to be his best friend but most people in the world have a positive quality and they're the ones this thread chooses to address.

If you put it in cetain places, its not meaningless.

If you take note, the main places are Mirrors... Some people put them on Weighing Scales, some have even put them on Diet Pills.

I think the idea is more too stop people thinking they need to follow the current idea of Beautiful (Which is either being really thin, having large boobs, having a six pac, having a hair certain hair colour...), people can be beautiful without these things.

I've heard a magazine telling women that if they want to spice up their sex life they should dye their hair red? I mean.. Wtf? Being a red head doesn't mean a better sex life (Though Naturally ginger girls are hot ^.^).

People are beautiful no matter who they are and what the look like. Perhaps telling them this would make them better people. I feel like its made me a better person.

You know, really, I appreciate what this thread is doing. I got a note and it brightened my mood for a moment, and I suppose that's worth pursuing.

But really, such notes, given out freely to random people, are meaningless. Not everyone is beautiful--whether inside or out--and to give them out without gauging the measure of a person's character defeats the purpose.

If the purpose of the notes is to brighten the mood for the moment then haven't you proven that the purpose is not defeated? wink

This thread operates on the assumption that most people in the world have something beautiful about them.

A person may have a personality trait that I find offensive but that another person finds beautiful. We aren't rating people based on our opinion, we're going by the fact that most people in the world have something worth liking about them by someone.
