things are to easy, therefore people don't have enough to occupy their time with....

that's why i make things. however, i am also a collector, of lovers and things (mostly experiences and art supplies/inspiration/adornment.)

yeah, i have a friend who talks about her boyfriend non-stop, a friend who talks about halo and explosions non-stop, and as friend who talks about anything and everything negative. they don't even seem to get that there is much more to life than those things. O_O

Although, so do I. I've had friends threaten to hurt me if I didn't shut up about certain topics. But I've gotten better.

I had a friend who was OBSESSED with the Lion King for years and talked about nothing else. Then she discovered boys and the whole focus shifted. It's incredibly annoying either way.

And another friend always talks about whatever show he's obsessed with at the time whenever I try to call him. A few weeks ago I spent almost an hour on the phone listening to him say stuff like, "Ohmigawd I can't believe he just let him do that! Whoa, his hair is different. Man, I wish I could control fire like that!" I have no idea why I don't just hang up on him.
