I'm 17 and my mom controls 90% of my life.
down to my friends, clothes, hair, etc.
if i have a hair product or clothing item she doesnt like, we argue, she makes me cry, then she takes said item.

Yeah. Most gender roles are gone. Not everywhere, though. Metrosexuality has become more accepted. A clean man doesn't have to be gay! >_> Ehh.. true for old people.

I wish I could wear what I want, but I can't. I want my wardrobe to consist of clothes from Hot Topic, but that won't happen until I'm in college. My parents think I'll become some Satanist or Wiccan if I dress Emo/Gothic. I don't really get it, but whatever. At least I can get hoodies and shoes from Hot Topic. That'll suffice for now.

Well I never really have that issue. XP I don't even really get to choose my own clothes when I go shopping. But I don't mind th clothes that my mom ends up buyig.
Anyways, if someone did say something about what I was wearing. Something negative. I wouldn't care.
