You're hallucinating.
It's a withdrawal symptom.

Reality: What you saw wasn't what you think you saw and was instead an imaginary thought in your mind that was you wanted or expected to see.

There were no words in your hair.

Addiction changes brain chemistry.
If ******** up s**t happens, like seeing words in your pubes while taking a shower, it's your brain whipping itself back into shape.

Noooo
Taking drugs changed your brain chemistry.
You're hallucinating because your brain is recovering from a radical chemical imbalance and it has to basically go through another imbalance (because it was used to having drugs) to become chemically balanced (used to being drug free) again.

Because the chemical change was only occurring slowly and only when you were were taking it.

Im not right sure

I think havin them substitutes made from morphine kinda holds em off but I got taken offa them bout 2 an a half weeks ago now

I aint got fully dopesick in that time so Im glad but the first week my ribs did hurt a bit an I head the cold sweats again but nothin so bad as the first time I was off the stuff

I cant even remember what I did I jus remember I felt all sticky an sick but Im told I was basically shoutin an kickin the walls

which is kinda normal
I seen some other poor bastards go through that first withdrawl too an they get dopesick an its pretty bad

It didn't happen unless there was pics, but then again, that would be kind of gross as well. Ya know on second thought, no pics, we believe you.

You're overthinking. The mind can see things in anything. It's the same as seeing shapes in the clouds or pictures in the patterns of the wall. You may have seen those words, but it doesn't mean your hair is talking to you, lol. It just means your hair was arranged in a convenient pattern that made those words. Even if the English language didn't exist, they still would have fallen in the same pattern.

Paranoia is normal and every human experiences it, so be glad and get a good night's sleep.

It's not as uncommon as you might think.

It has to do with your basic basic structure plus whatever drugs or meds you might be taking.

Some people's brains are just better at perceiving patterns, and their brains will just flip into pattern-making mode at the drop of a hat. And if you add chemical assistance on top of that -- whether it's pharmaceuticals or just a bigger dose of your natural neurotransmitters which your brain produces on its own -- voila, you've got messages in your hair.

Just stay calm and don't take your own brain too seriously. It's the one you're going to be using for a long time.
