I'm planning on taking what you're taking: computer courses.
Also, I plan on mitigating coursework pile-up by only taking two classes at a time.

college students have no life . lol

no but I just got done with my independent study course. Had to write a paper for it at the end ,which took like forever. (luckily my advisor understood I take awhile ^_^; )(16-17 pages single spaced)
So glad to be done with that. Just attempting to work on it ,as well as the actual working on it took so much time out of my life ><. ( I stayed up till the sun rose several nights)

The whole homework = course hours x 2-3 isn't accurate though it depends on the teacher really or the course itself.

I took ceramics , even though we worked on class people had to dedicate tons and tons of time to it outside of class to get the projects done on time.
Time Management.

I feel college should have a class on it.

But maybe that would be too ironic.

that wouldn't be a productive use of time.

But at several college they make you take a "college 101"class which talks a bit about time management I think.
My first year at university, I was a horrible time manager, I'm pretty sure all I did was sleep and go to classes, come back to my dorm, and sleep more. My roommate was having a similar problem, we'd take synchronized naps. I decided to leave after about 2 years at that university, mostly because I didn't want to face the people from my highschool, etc come into the university and see me struggling with my life. I am now pursuing an animation degree in england and my time management is crazy good compared to my classmates. Since I enjoy the work, I do it when I get it. Doing this gives me the opportunity to get better marks than everyone else. Having a film completely done months before it's due helps me edit it to perfection, while most people have very little editing time. And some how I still manage partying almost every weekend.

I suppose just make sure you're in the right place, it's much more difficult to stay focused in the United States program since you have to take so many more off hand classes.
college seems fun. i cant wait til college

gonk I started this assignment the moment it was due.

It's just so hard...

So, so hard.
I have no problem with my classes. I just need to do problems and read books. No 16 hour programming for me. neutral

My problem is that this semester, I'm only taking one CS course, this one.

One course is making me want to kick kittens, ahaha.

But really, it's usually not the worst, and can be loads of fun.

So far I've been pretty lucky in that most of my exams are programming exams.

That seems like a terrible idea at times, but if we complete the assigned programs properly, we usually cover just about everything necessary so successfully complete the exam.

I just write THOMAS JEFFERSON a bunch of times and I get an A

Thomas Jefferson is the best
I don't know, man.

Jefferson was fantastic, being the third president and working hard on our declaration of independence.

But I have a softer spot for Teddy Roosevelt.

That and Tesla. Not quite the same realm of people, but still.
Tesla = not even at all related, but I appreciate that your fanaticism is so great that you just can't help bringing him up.

I love you.

So much.
I''m a freshman, so I'm still in core courses. I have a test in Politics I haven't studied for yet, plus an online quiz in Seven Revolutions that I'll do later, and a paper in English Comp II
