sometimes I'll mention a beautiful girl that just walked by, and he'll just look at me confused. He doesn't pay attention to the people around us.
if he did look, I wouldn't be mad. Just would want him to be subtle and not obnoxious about it and not something that happens every single time we go out.

Holy insecurity projection batman...I think this thread is full of a bunch of people who don't know how to cope with the idea that a person doesn't stop being attracted to other people when in a relationship. That being said it is extremely natural for your eyes to float towards what is aesthetically pleasing or interesting to them, and stopping that is a chore that no relationship is worth in the long run.

To the women who are going "hurr durr no he shud only luk at me." You're projecting your jealousy and insecurities onto your boyfriend and trying to control him. He shouldn't be gawking unless you're both into that sort of thing, and he shouldn't be pointing out EVERY person for their features, because yes that will eventually breed insecurity in almost anyone. But that being said trying to control what he can and can't look at is the other side of the extreme and just stupid. That's sight crime...if that's even a term...where you're pegging him for potentially looking in the direction of an attractive girl and getting on him for it? Yeah I can tell your relationships are very fulfilling and full of trust.

The only people who feel like looking at another person is wrong when it's only looking, are immature or ignorant...or repressed...and repressed people tend to be that way because someone pounded super dumb ideas into their heads.
