My girl wants children. She's good with them, loves them and practically shines when she's around them.
I don't. I'm awkward with children and I'm not very fond of smaller ones. My potential job field means long hours away from home. I don't want to have children and make my girlfriend watch them all the time. I don't want my kids feeling like I didn't care enough. We talked about it.
Result: Two children, and only two children.

Adoption is expensive as hell yo ): but you mean like a surrogate? not a bad idea, except I'm pretty sure lots of states have laws that say a surrogate can choose to keep the babee if they want. /: that'd be devastating
