Hmm... I wouldn't mind doing that either, I suppose, but trying to date someone just because of their ethinic background is kind of shallow. I'd prefer to go out with someone I got along with and had fun with, regardless of race or their looks.

Aaaand you (like so many people I know) have what is often called "yellow fever" over here. I have to say that I know a lot of people who have entered into a relationship with someone here. I know very, very, very few cases in which it works. Including China, Japan and Korea I know....3 or 4 working relationships.

The cultural differences are vast. A few of the relationships I know are abusive. A lot of them are that the Westerner just wants a booty call. A few of them were booty calls that ended in pregnancy and they had to get married. A few got married and now hold each other in total contempt.

I advise against looking for a mate based on some idealistic vision of a specific race. If you get over here to the far east and meet the perfect person I advise that you proceed with caution. Even if the person is ok with dating you, there is no guarantee that their families will be ok with the fact that you are foreign. Causes issues.

Well, whatever floats your boat. But in my own opinion, looking for love based upon one's ethnics is totally retarded. Finding someone based on race preference never works out. Believe me I've seen people do the same thing and end up getting hurt. That's like for example a girl who only likes bad boys. And every time she ends up getting hurt or arrested for involving herself in dangerous situations. And people who have a mind set like that.. are a waste of life. I was like that once, I had only one mind set on one race preference. And it actually took someone with common and sense to kick me in the face and tell me " There is a lot more to life then living in a narrow cage ". But again.. that's my own opinion on this.
