My names Lexa and i'm a 22 year old transgender. (M-F) i recently decided to come out and have been shunned by alot of people i thought were my Friends. i know that i'm diffrent but i want to know what some different views on this are and maybe ill understand why people are treating me differently even tho i am still the same person

I don't judge people based on personal ans sexual preferences.

But to anybody who does feel strongly against transfolk, I completely respect their opinions as long as they keep them to themselves. Alternatively, I would like to share my fists in return for the shared opinions.

It's probably where you live. In some places, people just aren't as exposed to transgendered people.

But when I hear that someone is a tranny, I'm just like "Oh, okay. Well good for you."

The same reaction I would give to some person that told me they got a job, got a new computer, are going to college, or anything like that.

alot of people here make it hard to get jobs and all that. I even had to switch doctors because he was against it and refused to help me. ive tried for months to get work and i just dont understand it.

I've only met transgenders on the internet. I dislike a few of them, but that has nothing to do with them being transgendered. It's because they're jerks.
